Presentation: Hoffman-Weeks, Gibbs-Thomson, and thermal Gibbs-Thomson plots of polymer crystallization and melting utilizing FSC and SAXS
Dr. Akihiko Toda is Professor at the Graduate School of Integrated Arts and Sciences, Hiroshima University, Japan. He studied crystal and polymer physics, received his PhD degree in 1987, and was appointed research associate from 1987 to 1994 at Kyoto University. He spent one year in polymer physics group at Bristol University to work with Andrew Keller in 1990-91. He was appointed associate professor at Hiroshima University in 1994, and Professor from 2007. His research is on crystallization and melting of polymers by microscopy and thermal analysis.
